A Perfect Day uses extended reality (XR) as a theatrical and philosophical tool to address the growing tension between human and machine agency in a futuristic home environment. Set 50 years in the future, the immersant steps into the experience, embodying an elderly character while navigating a day within a mixed-reality residence where all domestic items have become artefacts of identification, turning the chair and table into a shared interactive portal and unlocking fragments of past life. Each experience forms a bespoke daily routine, enabling various haptic bodily interactions and manipulations. Entangled in a data-driven grid, what does it even mean to be alive?
